O. Henry Middle School
Guidance & Counseling Office

Our goal is to work closely with students, parents, and teachers to make the O. Henry Middle School experience one that bridges elementary school and high school.  Middle school is a time of growth- physically, emotionally and academically. We strive to support students in their development of becoming independent, self-directing, and self-correcting individuals who take responsibility for their own learning. We assist students in making good decisions and planning for the future.

O. Henry students and their families are very important to us.  We hope to get to know all of our students and their families over the course of the year.  If you would like to meet with one of the counselors, please contact the counselor directly to schedule an appointment.  Students are welcome to stop in the counselor's offices before school, after school, at lunch, or during the school day with a pass from a teacher.  If a counselor is not available during that time, students may fill out a "Request to See the Counselor" form located in the counseling office area. If you have an emergency, please let us know so that we can assist you immediately.
